Pause your travels long enough to sample Pure Michigan, Modern Craft-style. When you arrive, our Tasting Room Associate will greet and welcome you in. Each guest may choose up to eight samples from our available wine selection – no limit on bottles to go.
We welcome large or small groups. (Busses and RV’s? We go way back! Welcome!) Just bring a smile, and we look forward to accommodating you, memorably.

West Branch Tasting Room
Step back in time into the historic landmark and restored turn-of-the-century building that houses both a Modern Craft Winery Tasty Room and The Silver Lining Boutique. You’ll be telling your friends about your Taste Adventure here!
Let owners Peter and Samantha Fabbri tell you stories about the rich and colorful past of their retail location with high, tin-covered ceilings and Victorian charm – it’s been in existence since 1881! Peruse the Boutique’s stylish sterling silver jewelry, pursed, journals, pottery and other unique items. And, of course, enjoy the Modern Craft Winery Tasting Room!
When the State of Michigan relaxed rules, allowing wine tasting rooms under the same roof of existing businesses, Peter and Samantha jumped at the chance to be one of the first in the state to take advantage. They opened West Branch Tasting Room August 31, 2012. Their vision is exquisite, and Peter and Sam are more than business associates – they are friends of Modern Craft Winery. They’re good people, our people. (You’ll like them, too.)
Take a break from it all…Experience flavor and fun in a truly charming location, and enjoy a unique wine tasting experience you’ll never forget.

Entrepreneurs Mark and Venita Larson are associates and friends of Modern Craft Winery, and they “crafted” a wine tasting room that has been entertaining visitors since June 1st of 2012.
Located along a beautiful scenic stretch between Oscoda and Alpena, Harrisville offers quaint shops, galleries and restaurants, but it’s Harrisville’s Modern Craft Mixperience Room that makes them remember their stay. Begin your Northbound adventure on our patio.

Frankenmuth Wine Tasting Room
In 2017 Modern Craft joined forces with Michigan’s largest bead store, Bead Haven, to give the Great Lakes Bay Region what they have been asking for, their own local Mixperience Room. Two modern retailers offering quality, one-of-a-kind unique items with the opportunity for our customers to “make it your own,” says Tom Nixon, owner of Modern Craft.
With 3M visitors annually, Modern Craft couldn’t pass up the opportunity to partner with a highly- recognized and popular retailer like Bead Haven, who opened their doors in 1993 and has expanded three times before making the Quaint River Place Shopping Mall themed after a small Bavarian Village their final location.
“We were presented with the opportunity to partner with Modern Craft and we really loved the idea of mixing the bead shop with wine tasting,” said Gail Damm, the owner of Bead Haven. Gail believes Modern Craft wine is different than traditional wines and she thinks it adds another unique facet for the Frankenmuth wine tasting market, giving visitors more options. Bead Haven designed the 800-square foot wine tasting room with an industrial look, yet kept it warm and cozy by incorporating refurbished vintage cabinets, a warm color scheme, and soft Edison lighting. There will be a couple of bar top tables inside and a seasonal outdoor seating area. “You can also snuggle up to our custom made 20-foot bar, made with a cement counter top that we inlayed pieces of amethyst, blending our bead world with the new wine world,” said Gail.
Our loyal customers are very excited about the idea of being able to shop for beads and wine taste in the same location,” says Tara Jacob, General Manager of Bead Haven. “We can always accommodate private events too,” said Tara.
